Process

Here is a quick glimpse into the process behind our hand made fused glass pieces.

 

  • Preparing to cut glass.

  • Glass is scored with glass cutter.

  • Glass nippers break the glass along the scored lines.

  • Glass is placed in the kiln for 12 hours. First, 3 hours at high temperatures, then cooled for 9 hours.

  • Glass is fired at temperatures between 1200 and 1400 degrees Farenheit

  • A sterling silver bale is glued on the pendant.
